Welcome, Friends of Camp of the Good Shepherd!

Camp of the Good Shepherd is preparing for another summer full of the very best in Bible Camps.  Each camp will provide excellent Bible teaching.  Daily camp fires, swimming, Bible classes, chapel services, outdoor activities and crafts will be led by experienced Christian deans and workers who have a heart for teaching children about Jesus.  See you soon at the Camp of the Good Shepherd where we have fun learning about Jesus!  Make sure to register by June 1 to save on camp prices.  [Note:  After several years of holding the same prices for our camps, 2020 will require us to have a small increase in registration costs.]

Rally@theCamp! and Pre-registration Day (for the entire family) ~ There is no cost for this event.  Just come on out!  Bring your friends and family.  See what’s new.  Meet our CGS staff and volunteers.  Pre-register your kids for camp.  Free cookout at 5:00 p.m.!

What to bring to camp: 

Bible 

Notebook / pen 

Bedding (for twin size mattress)/ pillow/ Swimsuit/ swim gear 

Flip-flops 

Sunglasses/ sunscreen 

Soap/ shampoo/ toothbrush/ toothpaste/ etc. 2 towels (1 for swimming/ 1 for showering) Prescription medication (must be given to nurse at registration time) 

Clothes/shoes appropriate for recreation 

 

Optional: 

Musical instrument for Talent Night (Junior Camp) Ball glove/ gear 

Money for missions offering, CGS T-shirt($ 10) 

 

[NOTE TO PARENTS: To avoid the possibility of campers losing their money during camp, we sug­gest that all spending money for each camper be turned in at registration time. Unused portion will be returned on the last day of camp.]  Canteen (snacks) is included in the cost for camp, so no additional money needs to be sent for snacks! 

 

MISSIONARY OFFERINGS ... Camp of the Good Shepherd gives a portion of Middler, Junior, Jr. High and High School camper registration fees to help support a Christian Mission organization or Mission­ary chosen by the dean of each camp. Campers are also encouraged to give their own freewill offerings to help support the missionary. We encourage par­ents to include this freewill offering when registering their child, but offerings may be given during camp, as well.

Skateboard 

T-shirts with inappropriate messages or advertisements 

Immodest clothing or swimwear

Register for Camp (Starting January 1)

Online registration starts January 1, 2020.  Please make sure to register by June 1, 2020 to save on camp prices.  

If you would prefer registering online, please click on the “Register Online” button below.  You will be required to pay a minimum deposit of 20% per child to complete the online registration.  If you are a parent or guardian and you are registering more than one child from your immediate family attending Middler, Junior, Jr. High, or High School, you have the option of receiving a Multiple Sibling Discount (MSD).  To receive the MSD you must register all of your children in the same transaction to receive the discount.
