EventsAvailable February – October New Rates and Policies Effective January 2024 The CGS facilities are now available to rent for Day Camps with minimal staff spending the night. Included: Chapel Boys & Girls Dorms (including staff rooms) Kitchen and Dining Room Campfire Pit [Firewood is provided. Please bring lighters and fire-starting materials.] Playground Ball fields Sports Court Recreation Room NOT included: Little Cedars Lodge — The Little Cedars Lodge may be added for $125 per 24-hour period. Cook and/or food — Each group must provide its own cook and food. The CGS kitchen has basic equipment; specialty equipment may not be available. Check with camp management prior to stay to determine what equipment is available. Bedding — Limited sheets/towel sets may be rented from CGS for $10 per stay. Pool — The pool, available from June 1 - August 15, may be added for $100 for each 3-hour session between the hours of 11AM and 5PM. [Pool hours of operation must be arranged in advance with CGS Facilities Management.] Pool capacity is 75. A lifeguard is not required by the State and is not provided by CGS. Each group is responsible to provide appropriate supervision. Cleaning — Rental groups are responsible to clean up after themselves. The camp facilities must be left ready for the next group. Rates: Small Groups (Up to 65 guests) — $800 for a 24-hour period (10AM – 10AM) Additional Time: Day Rate: $400/day (10AM - 6PM) Night Rate: $400/ night (6PM - 10AM) Large Groups (More than 80 guests) — $1,200 for a 24-hour period (10AM – 10AM) Additional Time: Day Rate: $600/day (10AM - 6 PM) Night Rate: $600/night (6PM – 10AM) Overnight STAFF ONLY (Up to 12 people; in staff rooms) — $100/night (6PM -10AM) Example: If a group of approximately 50 people would like to use the camp facilities from 10AM on Saturday until 6 PM on Sunday, it would be 2 days and 1 night. The total cost would be $1,200, plus an additional $250 refundable deposit). Payment: A $250 refundable deposit is due within two weeks of securing the reservation. Remaining balance must be paid by credit/debit card prior to arrival. Full or partial deposit will be returned to the card that the payment was made with, depending on how much cleaning is required. Important Notes/Policies: Events held at the CGS facilities must be for not-for-profit use. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the CGS campgrounds. Smoking is not permitted inside any CGS building. Camp of the Good Shepherd desires to make its facilities accessible to everyone in order to reach people for Jesus. Every effort is made to keep rates low while still being able to operate and maintain the camp facilities.

Little Cedars LodgeAvailable Year Round New Rates and Policies Effective January 2024 Included: Lodge great room accommodates 30 people comfortably. [Special arrangements can be made for lecture-type settings to accommodate up to 50 people.] Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and large table Fireplace [Firewood is provided. Please bring lighters and fire-starting materials.] Bathroom with Shower Sleeping for 10 in two rooms NOT included: Cook and Food — Each group must provide their own cook and food. The CGS kitchen has basic equipment; specialty equipment may not be available. Check with CGS Management prior to stay to determine what equipment is available. Bedding — Limited sheets/towel sets may be rented from the camp for $10 per stay. Pool — The pool may be added for $200 for a 3-hour session between 11AM and 5PM, arranged in advance with camp personnel (available June - August 15). Pool capacity is 75. A lifeguard is not required by the State and is not provided by the camp. Each group is responsible to provide its own appropriate supervision. Swimming Pool3-Hour Pool Party Available June 1 – August 15 New rates and policies effective January 2024 Included: Pool and pool area [Pool capacity is 75.] Changing/showering/toilet facilities Outdoor shelter with picnic tables Outside carpetball game tables Playground and Basketball Court NOT included: Lifeguard Kitchen or Dining Hall Chapel Recreation Room Little Cedars Lodge (LCL) or other rooms/buildings Cleaning — Rental groups are responsible to clean up after themselves. The camp must be left ready for the next group. Rates: $200 (plus a $50 refundable deposit) for up to three hours of pool use [Hours of use to be made by arrangement with CGS Facilities Management.] Payment: Full payment is due within two weeks after securing the reservation. Full deposit or a partial refund will be returned to the card from which the payment was made, depending on the amount cleaning required (or if repairs are needed) following the rental. WeddingsAvailable April – October New Rates and Policies Effective January 2024 Included: Chapel — Seating for up to 200 (169 on main floor/ 30+ in balcony); Tables may be set up for banquet/seated reception for up to 100 people. Boys & Girls Dorms with Restrooms — Staff (Private) rooms may be used for dressing/prep rooms and to store clothing/personal items during the event. Kitchen and Dining Hall Campfire Pit [Firewood is provided. Please bring lighters and fire-starting materials.] Parking Lot — Group may need to provide parking attendants if more than 30 vehicles are expected. Playground Ball fields Sports Court NOT included: Little Cedars Lodge — The Lodge may be added for $125 for a 24-hour period. Cook and Food — Each group must provide their own cook and food.
