A light breakfast and hot drinks will be served at 9:00AM, followed by a time of worship and praise. Throughout the day, some wonderful women will share how Christ changes our hearts, and how we can partner with Christ to change our homes and communities. Lunch will be provided, and craft projects will be available. We will close at 3:00PM.
Cost: $25
Karolyn Milliken will be sharing, "Be the change in your home." She, along with her Husband Richard have raised four beautiful children who love the Lord. She will share with us from years of experience loving and nurturing her family and grandchildren.
Jennifer Stockman is a wife, mother, friend and co-laborer for the Kingdom. She has been on an amazing journey with God and will be sharing with us how Christ changes hearts.
Panel discussion on Being the Change in Your Community
Nadine Fontaine works with Hope-Net Ministries which connects people in need (those in jail, homeless, addicted, or low income) with local resources that are available to help them.
Nancy Jones volunteers with Sarpy Care Center which helps meet the physical and spiritual needs of those in the Calvary Christian Church area, including work with local schools and foster care, by providing food, clothing, diapers, and counseling. She also volunteers with Restored Wings, a home for trafficked women in Omaha.
Gail BeDunnah, the voice you hear when you call Camp of the Good Shepherd, is a pastor's wife and also works with their local school providing a once-a-week after school Bible club, and organizes a food care program through their church.
